The National Security and Defense Council reviews the implementation of Resilience Plans, says Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has instructed the National Security and Defense Council to review and assess the implementation of the resilience plans for regions and communities. Those who fail to comply will be held accountable.
The president made this statement during a meeting with the heads of Ukraine’s diplomatic missions abroad.
This week, the National Security and Defense Council will hold a special meeting to assess the implementation of regional and community resilience plans.
Resilience plans are comprehensive programs designed to prepare regions and communities to function under wartime conditions. They include ensuring energy independence, protecting critical infrastructure, providing shelters, backup power, supplies, and mechanisms for rapid response to attacks, blackouts, and other threats.
According to the president, those who fail to implement these plans will be held accountable.
Ihor Klymenko, as the new Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), is tasked with overseeing the implementation of the resilience plans.
He has exceptional experience coordinating the security sector, as well as his work last winter to ensure our resilience and assist the people. Therefore, the NSDC will be more closely involved in working with the Ukrainian government on this matter

As a reminder, on August 3, Zelenskyy officially appointed Umerov as head of the Foreign Intelligence Service and Klymenko as Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. The relevant decrees were published on the website of the President of Ukraine.
