Who Will Prepare Ukraine for a Peaceful Life After the War: Zelenskyy Makes a New Appointment

Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram channel.

According to the head of state, Sobolev will be responsible for economic policy within the Presidential Office team and will work in coordination with Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi, Minister of Economy Oleksandr Kravchenko, other government officials, as well as regional and local authorities.

The president emphasized that during the war, one of the key tasks is to support economic activity, Ukrainian business, and entrepreneurship, as well as to preserve existing jobs and create new ones.

In addition, Zelenskyy announced that Sobolev will coordinate efforts with international partners to develop and flesh out a concrete plan for Ukraine’s post-war recovery.

According to the president, the state must be prepared to quickly transition to normal civilian economic life once the war ends, while preserving the potential of the defense industry and creating conditions for the development of entrepreneurship in Ukraine.

As a reminder, this Monday marked the start of one of the most important diplomatic tours in recent months for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. First, he visited the United Kingdom, where he met with the newly elected prime minister and the government, and the following day, Tuesday, July 28, he traveled to the United States, where he met with Donald Trump.
