“We’ve changed our relationship”: Zelenskyy identified the event that proved pivotal in his relationship with Trump

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that a key milestone in his relationship with U.S. President Donald Trump was their face-to-face meeting at St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, which took place in April 2025.
The head of state spoke about this in an interview with the American far-right blogger Lori Lumer, an excerpt of which Trump himself later posted on the social media platform Truth Social.
