Sandu: Some drones end up in Moldova by accident, while others do so intentionally

Moldovan President Maia Sandu stated that some Russian drones accidentally enter the country's airspace, while others are launched intentionally.
This was reported by Newsmaker.
According to her, similar incidents have already been recorded in Romania and Poland. At the same time, regardless of their intentions, drones violate Moldova’s airspace and pose a danger to people.
Sandu emphasized that Russia bears responsibility for this.
She also stated that notes of protest or the expulsion of Russian diplomats will not change Moscow’s policy. In her view, the most effective way to stop such incidents is to strengthen support for Ukraine.
Commenting on the possible expulsion of Russian Ambassador to Moldova Oleg Ozerov, Sandu noted that this would not force Russia to stop violating Moldovan airspace.
As a reminder, on August 17, a Russian “Banderole” loitering munition crossed the Ukrainian border and crashed in Moldova after an attack on the Odesa region.
