Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Ukrainian negotiating team following a series of meetings in Kyiv with representatives of the U.S. president.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this following the meetings.
Three rounds of talks involving U.S. representatives took place in Kyiv. Representatives of the E3 format—France, Germany, and the United Kingdom—also joined the talks.
Separately, Zelenskyy noted that he had held a personal conversation the day before with U.S. Special Representative Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
One of the key issues discussed during the meetings was Ukraine’s air defense needs.
We had a substantive discussion about our air defense needs, related technological cooperation, and the necessary winter support package. Our partners know what could work and what must work by winter.
