Zelenskyy signed decrees on new appointments

Tymur Tkachenko commented on his appointment as the Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration in accordance with a decree signed by the President of Ukraine.

According to him, the Kyiv region is of strategic importance due to its location surrounding the capital, its proximity to the state border, and the constant attacks by Russia.

Tkachenko noted that a challenging period lies ahead, making it a priority to successfully get through the upcoming season. He also emphasized that, in his new role, he intends to focus on supporting people during this difficult time for the country.

The decrees are available on the official website of the President of Ukraine.

SBU Leadership Updated:

• Oleg Fedorov has been appointed head of the SBU’s Special Operations Center “A”;
• Olena Voronova has been appointed head of the SBU’s Personnel Department;
• The heads of the SBU departments in nine regions and in Crimea have been reappointed.

In addition, Tymur Tkachenko has been appointed head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

As a reminder, the government had previously approved the appointment of Tymur Tkachenko as head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration. Prior to this, he had been dismissed from his position as head of the Kyiv City State Administration.
