President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gar Støre. The two leaders discussed strengthening Ukraine’s air defense capabilities, the need for interceptor missiles, the FREYJA program, and Ukraine’s preparations for winter.

The president provided more details about the meeting on Telegram.

According to him, the talks focused primarily on Ukraine’s defense needs. In particular, the parties discussed strengthening Ukraine’s air defense and the need for interceptor missiles. They also discussed further work on the FREYJA anti-ballistic missile program.

Another topic of discussion was Ukraine’s preparations for the winter.

Zelenskyy also expressed his condolences on the death of King Harald V of Norway. The president emphasized that Ukraine deeply appreciates the support from the royal family and the Norwegian people.

“Thank you to Jonas Gar Stere for the meeting and his unwavering support of our people,” Zelenskyy wrote.
