“They execute this perfectly every day”: A historian explained what Trump’s strength lies in

Ukrainian historian Yevgen Mochalov explained how current U.S. President Donald Trump and his supporters continue to hold an edge over their Democratic opponents.
Mochalov spoke about this in an interview with "Shelter."
In particular, Trump continues to outmaneuver his opponents in the media.
For now, the Republicans, with Trump and his approach, remain far ahead. This approach—which is very grotesque and, to us, seemingly incomprehensible, exposing a lack of professionalism— but is very effectively tailored—where every day you have to generate your own news story that will be the top topic of discussion—and they’ve been executing it perfectly every single day all this time. The Democrats haven’t been able to do that yet. They just don’t have that approach,
Yevgen Mochalov historian
According to him, the internet in general—and social media in particular—play a huge role here, of course.
Donald Trump has already served twice as U.S. president from the Republican Party: as the 45th president from January 20, 2017, to January 20, 2021, and as the 47th U.S. president from January 20, 2025.
