American conservative blogger Laura Lumer visited the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and toured the sites that were damaged as a result of the Russian attack on June 15.
She reported this on her X page.
In particular, she saw the Assumption Cathedral, which had lost more than 80% of its roof.

During her visit, Laura Lumer was accompanied by Minister of Culture Tetiana Berezhna, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Serhiy Kyslytsia, and the reserve’s director general, Maksym Ostapenko.
Serhiy Kyslytsia noted that seeing firsthand the aftermath of a Russian drone strike on the heart of Christianity is a very powerful and moving experience, and he thanked the blogger for coming to Ukraine.
As a reminder, American blogger Laura Loomer, who is linked to U.S. President Donald Trump’s inner circle, arrived in Ukraine. After visiting Bucha and meeting with Ukrainian officials, she stated that her perception of the war had changed and that the information she had received previously did not correspond to reality.
