Budanov announced a major prisoner exchange in the coming days

Kirill Budanov, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, stated that another major prisoner exchange could take place in the coming days.
He made this announcement on August 28 in an interview with Natalia Moseychuk, which was broadcast during the “Yedyni Novyny” telethon.
According to Budanov, another prisoner exchange took place recently. In addition, Ukraine managed to repatriate 10 more citizens from Belarus in time for Independence Day.
Negotiations are currently underway again regarding the return of Ukrainians from captivity—a new exchange could take place in the coming days.

As a reminder, on August 19, Ukraine repatriated another 103 defenders from Russian captivity. Among those released were servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, specifically from the Territorial Defense Forces and the Navy, as well as the National Guard and the State Border Guard Service.
On August 24, Ukraine repatriated ten more servicemen who had been listed as missing in action.
