A Drone Hit an Apartment in Odesa: What We Know

Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

Russian troops attacked Odesa on the night of August 11. According to preliminary reports, one of the consequences of the strike was a hit on a residential building.

As a result of the attack, an apartment on the fifth floor of a high-rise building was damaged. The residents were not at home at the time of the strike.

As of now, there have been no reports of casualties. At the same time, details regarding the consequences of the attack are still being clarified.

Emergency services are on the scene

Emergency and utility services have been mobilized to address the aftermath of the strike. An emergency operations center has also been set up at the scene.

Experts continue to work at the impact site to determine the full extent of the damage caused by the Russian attack on the city.

As of this writing, the attack on Odesa is ongoing, and people are being asked to remain in shelters.

As a reminder, American actor Ashton Kutcher reacted to the Russian strike on the central “Chornomorets” stadium in Odesa, calling the attack yet another war crime by the Russian Federation. The Hollywood actor addressed Russian President Vladimir Putin directly, calling on him to end the war and admit defeat.
