The General Staff is preparing systemic changes to ensure a more effective defense of the front line, – Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement following a meeting with military leaders.

During the meeting with Commander-in-Chief Mykhailo Drapatyi, Chief of the General Staff Ihor Skybiuk, Yevhen Khmara, and Pavlo Palisa, they discussed in detail the challenges posed by Russia’s ballistic missile strike tactics.

The president reported that the command had identified solutions, technical measures, and asymmetric countermeasures to strengthen defenses.

Zelenskyy also heard a briefing on the situation in the Sloviansk and Kostiantynivka areas, as well as the status of the maritime export corridor.

The operation to carry out precision strikes against Russian forces and positions in the temporarily occupied territory, particularly in Crimea, is ongoing. The list of top priorities for these strikes has been updated.

As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy outlined the key tasks facing Acting Defense Minister Yevhen Khmara and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapaty. According to him, the leaders must work together on the most important issues of the country’s defense.

During a meeting in Washington, Zelenskyy also asked Trump to provide Kyiv with missiles for the Patriot air defense systems. Ukraine aims to assemble 300 interceptor missiles by the start of winter.
