The General Staff confirmed that a military facility in the Rostov Region had been struck and that a Su-33 and a MiG-29 had been damaged in Anapa

This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the federal state-owned enterprise “Kamensky Plant” in the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov Oblast, Russia. 

The press service added that a fire was reported on the facility’s grounds.

The General Staff also reported that two command posts, military vehicle depots, and an “ST-68” radar station were struck, and confirmed damage to an “Orion” UAV and enemy combat aircraft.

Enemy command posts were struck in Strilkove, Kherson Oblast, and Staromlynivka, Donetsk Oblast; Russian occupiers’ logistics depots were struck in Stepne and Khrustalnyi, Luhansk Oblast; and in the Viktorivka area of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Based on the results of previous strikes, it was established that on August 23, Su-33 and MiG-29 fighter jets, as well as an “Orion” unmanned aerial vehicle, were damaged at the “Vityazevo” airfield in Anapa, Krasnodar Krai.

As a reminder, on the night of August 24, the “Birds” unit of the Unmanned Systems Forces reported striking 66 targets in the rear of Russian troops. Among the significant targets were a Russian MiG-29 fighter jet in the Rostov region and four radar stations: two “Kasta-2E2” stations, one “Nebo-SV” station, and one “ST-68” station in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
