The General Staff confirmed the destruction of Russian MiG-29s and Ka-27s

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Based on an analysis of the data, the General Staff confirmed the destruction of a Russian Ka-27 helicopter on August 30 near the “Yeisk” airfield in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation.

It has also been confirmed that on August 27, 2026, a Russian MiG-29 aircraft was destroyed near the Millerovo airfield in the Rostov Region of the Russian Federation.

According to confirmed reports, on September 1 and during the night of September 2, a number of Russian military facilities were struck:

• in Volodymyrivka, Donetsk Oblast—an enemy ammunition depot;
• in Ocheretine, Donetsk Oblast—a logistics depot belonging to one of the units of the Russian occupation forces;
• in Rechitsa, Bryansk Oblast, Russian Federation—a Defense Forces location where enemy weapons and military equipment were concentrated (the extent of the damage is being determined).

As a reminder, on August 31 and during the night of September 1, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck drone launch sites, a communications hub, a command and observation post, and Russian military depots. It has also been confirmed that on August 30, a launch pad and a UAV storage facility were struck in the Tsymbulova area of Russia’s Oryol Oblast.
