A massive attack on targets in Russia and the occupied territories: a thermal power plant is on fire in Lipetsk, and the water supply has been cut off in Belgorod

A series of missile and drone strikes has caused damage to infrastructure and triggered large-scale fires.

Main targets of the strikes:

• Belgorod: Following a missile strike, part of the city was left without a stable water supply;
• Occupied territories: drones attacked targets in the temporarily occupied cities of Simferopol and Mariupol;
• Leningrad Oblast: for unknown reasons, a fire broke out at the “Ladoga” industrial park;
• Anapa: drone attacks on facilities.

It is worth noting that as a result of the strikes, a fire broke out at the large “PUD” logistics center near Simferopol, and in Greater Yalta, the 110/10 kV “Zarya” substation– a critical power hub – was attacked.

As a reminder, in Lipetsk, Russia, on the night of July 21, explosions were heard after a missile alert was issued, and a large-scale fire subsequently broke out. According to OSINT analysts, the fire broke out near the local Thermal Power Plant No. 2 and the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant, although the specific target has not yet been officially identified.
