Nearly 900 strikes in a day: One person killed and dozens wounded in Zaporizhzhia due to Russian attacks

Over the past 24 hours, on September 5, Russian forces carried out 886 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the attacks on the regional capital and the Zaporizhzhia district, one person was killed and another 25 were wounded, with injuries ranging in severity.
This was reported by the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
According to the Regional Military Administration, more than fifty settlements in the region came under confirmed shelling. The enemy delivered the main blow using various types of drones—673 drone attacks were recorded. In addition, the occupiers carried out 25 airstrikes, two attacks with multiple-launch rocket systems, and fired artillery 186 times.
Law enforcement and emergency services received 187 reports of destruction and damage to civilian infrastructure, private residential buildings, apartment buildings, and vehicles. The injured are receiving the necessary medical care.
