Nighttime attack on the Kyiv region: One person killed in Boryspil; others injured

On the night of September 1, Russian troops launched a massive attack on the Kyiv region using missiles and attack drones. In Boryspil, a residential building and a business were damaged; there was one fatality and several injuries.
This was reported by Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, on Telegram.
According to him, a five-story residential building was damaged in Boryspil. Cars caught fire in the adjacent parking lot, but the fire has already been extinguished.
Forty-eight residents were evacuated from the damaged building. Currently, eight people are known to have been injured, including one child. The injured are receiving the necessary medical care.
The attack also damaged one of the businesses in Boryspil. One person was killed there, and another was injured. The head of the Regional State Administration expressed his condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
Rescue workers, medical personnel, police, and other emergency services are on the scene. They are continuing to address the aftermath of the shelling and assess the extent of the damage. Information regarding the consequences of the attack is still being verified.
As a reminder, three people were killed during the night of September 1 as a result of a Russian attack on Kyiv. Five more residents of the capital were injured.
