Shelling in the Sumy region: Two people killed, 16 wounded, including children

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy shelled 20 settlements in four districts of Sumy Oblast. They used guided aerial bombs, artillery, mortars, and various types of attack UAVs.
This was reported by the National Police press office.
It is noted that in the Shostka community, a 49-year-old man was killed and a 47-year-old woman was injured when an enemy drone struck.
In the Sumy community, 13 civilians, including four children, were injured as a result of an attack by KABs and a drone strike

Law enforcement officials also reported that a 78-year-old woman died in the hospital after being wounded on September 8 when enemy drones struck a train in the Sumy district.
Two men who had been injured the day before sought medical attention.
Police investigative and operational teams, bomb disposal experts, and personnel from other emergency services worked at the sites of the strikes.
Police emphasized that investigators have opened criminal cases under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes) for each of these incidents.
As a reminder, on September 8, Russian troops carried out two precision strikes with “Shahed” drones against a train traveling from Kyiv to Sumy. The train was stopped in time, and all passengers were evacuated.
