Operation “Crimean Circuit Breaker Off”: SBS drones struck 177 of the occupiers’ energy facilities

This was reported by Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces.

According to the commander, over the past month—from July 1 to August 2—UAS units struck a total of 177 energy targets in the occupied regions.

The pace of attacks remains high: in just the last 72 hours, Ukrainian “drones” struck 13 key enemy energy facilities, “Madyar” noted.

As a result of the strikes, power outages and blackouts were reported in Mariupol, Berdyansk, Henichesk, as well as in the area of the Zuivska Thermal Power Plant in the city of Zugres in Donetsk Oblast.

What exactly was struck over the past 72 hours

• Zuyivska Thermal Power Plant (Zugres, Donetsk Oblast): The power plant’s energy infrastructure was struck.
• Mariupol Power Hub: Five substations of various capacities were destroyed or damaged—the 330-kV “Mirna” substation, the 220 kV “Azovska-220” substation, as well as the municipal 110 kV substations “Misto-6,” “Misto-11,” and “Misto-2.”
• Kherson Region: A second strike was carried out against the 150-kV “Henichesk” substation, and the 150-kV “Novooleksiivka” substation was also hit.
• Zaporizhzhia region and Berdiansk: The 110 kV “Makorti” substation and another substation in Berdyansk were hit, as well as the 110 kV “Topoline” and 110 kV “Volodarska” substations.

The operation to cut off power to facilities supporting the occupation forces in southern Ukraine is ongoing.

As a reminder, on July 28–29, the Special Forces struck 10 energy facilities in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea, Kherson, and Luhansk regions.
