The Air Force reported the loss of an F-16 during a combat mission

This was officially reported by the Ukrainian Air Force Command.

According to preliminary information from the military, an emergency situation arose while the fighter jet was in flight, forcing the pilot to eject.

Thanks to the prompt response of the search and rescue team, the pilot was quickly located and evacuated. The servicemember is currently safe under medical supervision and is not in any danger.

Experts note that the crash of the combat aircraft did not result in damage to any structures, and there were no civilian casualties.

Specialists and law enforcement officials are already working at the crash site to determine all the circumstances and causes of the incident.

We would also like to remind you that on July 6, the United Kingdom intercepted a Russian Bear F maritime patrol aircraft. It approached the British aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales, which had been specially deployed north of the Arctic Circle to support NATO missions.
