Russian troops have once again struck an international border crossing. The crossing in question is “Vynohradivka–Vulcănești,” located on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border. Traffic has been suspended there for the time being, and customs procedures are not being carried out.
The press office of the State Customs Service of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
It is noted that the infrastructure of the international border crossing point was damaged by a Russian drone attack.
The agency urged citizens and carriers to take this information into account and, when planning their routes, to choose other open border crossing points to cross the Ukrainian-Moldovan border.
They promise to provide further updates on when operations will resume.
As a reminder, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on the night of August 20, Russian invaders attacked a border crossing in the Odesa region and gas infrastructure in the Chernihiv region. Overall, the Russians launched ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones, at cities across Ukraine.
