On the night of August 10, Russian forces carried out five strikes with guided bombs on civilian infrastructure in Sumy. At least five people were injured.

This was reported by Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

He stated that during the nighttime attack, Russian forces launched five strikes on the city using guided aerial bombs. Impacts were recorded at three locations in two districts of Sumy.

According to preliminary data, at least five people were injured. They are currently receiving the necessary medical care.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian military is strengthening defenses in the Chernobyl zone, which Russian troops seized at the start of the full-scale invasion. Fortifications are currently being built in this area, and preparations are underway to counter potential new threats from the north.
