On the night of August 4, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on Sumy, using guided bombs. One person was killed in the attack, and there are also other casualties.
This was reported by Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.
On the night of August 4, the Russian army attacked Sumy with guided aerial bombs. It is reported that strikes were recorded at three locations in the Kovpakivsky district of the city.
Residential areas and civilian infrastructure were hit. As of 2:50 a.m., one fatality has been reported, and there are also injured.
The head of the Regional Military Administration noted that information regarding the consequences of the Russian attack is being verified, and relevant services continue to work at the sites of the strikes.
As a reminder, on the night of July 27, Russian troops launched a combined strike on Sumy, using guided aerial bombs and attack drones. The attack resulted in civilian casualties and caused damage to residential buildings, infrastructure, and transportation.
