On August 28, Russia conducted a combat-training launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the warheads successfully hit their designated targets in Kamchatka.

During the test, the Russian military also practiced redeploying the launch battery to a remote area.
