Russian troops once again launched a strike with smart-bombs on residential neighborhoods in Zaporizhzhia, killing two people.

This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration.

According to preliminary reports, two people were killed and nine others were wounded as a result of the enemy shelling.

Private homes, apartment buildings, non-residential buildings, and civilian vehicles in the city sustained damage and destruction. Fires broke out at the sites of the strikes.

Rescue workers and emergency services are currently on the scene, extinguishing fires and providing necessary assistance to those affected.

The prosecutor’s office has also launched an investigation into the commission of a war crime that resulted in the loss of life.

We also recall that on July 20, Russian troops launched a strike with guided aerial bombs on Zaporizhzhia. One person was killed and five others were wounded as a result of the attack.

In addition, on July 19, Russian troops carried out a massive attack on Zaporizhzhia and other settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Three people were killed and 47 others were injured as a result of the shelling.
