A Russian jet-powered drone set a flight range record, traveling approximately 960 km from its launch point. According to OSINT analysts, this is one of the longest recorded flights of this type of UAV.
This was reported by the Telegram channel of OSINT analysts "Oko Gora."
The report refers to the “Geran-4” jet-powered UAV, which was launched from the Gvardeyskoye military airfield.
Although the stated range of the “Geran-4” jet-powered UAV is about 550 km, flying at an altitude of 5,000–7,000 m allows its range to be doubled

According to estimates, approximately 96% of Ukraine’s territory falls within the range of Russian “Geran-4” jet-powered UAVs.
As a reminder, due to a direct hit by a Russian drone on a warehouse where books from Readeat, Book.ua, and a number of other Ukrainian publishers were stored, order shipments have been suspended today. However, there were no casualties.
In addition, on the morning of Sunday, August 23, in the Odesa region, a Russian “Shahed”-type jet drone struck the locomotive of passenger train No. 147 traveling from Zhytomyr to Odesa, which was carrying nearly 600 passengers.
