Last night, Russian forces carried out yet another massive attack on Ukraine. The enemy launched 151 drones and 13 missiles, 8 of which were ballistic missiles, killing two people in Kyiv and injuring five others, including a child.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this on Telegram.
According to him, a high-rise building, warehouses, and cars were damaged in the capital, and this is already the sixth ballistic attack on the city in July alone.
The enemy also launched strikes on other regions:
- in the Kharkiv region, four people were wounded in drone and aerial bomb attacks, and residential buildings, a movie theater, and tennis courts were damaged;
- in Sumy, the Russians struck a park, and in the region, they attacked a tractor crew;
- in Zaporizhzhia, apartment buildings sustained damage;
- in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, and Donetsk regions, damage to power grid facilities was reported.
Moscow is counting on terror through ballistic missiles and continues its strikes, so it is now crucial to accelerate the delivery of interceptors to our air defense forces. Every shipment matters, and everything we have agreed upon with our partners must arrive on time. The speed of these deliveries allows us to protect the lives of our people and deter Russia’s desire to continue the war
Volodymyr Zelenskyy President of Ukraine
As a reminder, on the night of July 16, Russian troops attacked Kyiv. Two people were killed in the strike, and several others were injured. In the Sviatoshyn and Darnytsia districts, non-residential buildings were hit, causing fires.
