Ihor Obolienskyi, commander of the “Khartiia” Brigade, commented on the attempted assassination against him.
He made this statement in a post on Facebook.
He called terrorism one of Russia’s means of waging war and a sign that the enemy is unable to achieve its political goals through military means.
The assassination attempt is a sign of the enemy’s fear. And our retaliation will make them fear us even more

He thanked everyone for their attention and concern, as well as the President of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people for their support.
As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported an assassination attempt on Ihor Obolenskyi. The attacker and his accomplice were detained in Kharkiv. The attacker is a 69-year-old Kharkiv resident who was recruited by Russian operatives posing as SBU officers.
