Trilateral talks between Ukraine, the U.S., and Russia are set to take place by fall, according to Zelenskyy
Volodymyr Zelenskyy Office of the President

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that a new round of trilateral talks between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia aimed at ending the war should take place by fall.

He announced this at a joint press conference with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin on July 23 in Kyiv.

According to the president, during a recent phone call with U.S. President’s Special Envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, he received certain proposals.

Now the American side needs to discuss these terms with the Russians.

I think there will be a trilateral meeting then. Of course, all of this needs to be done by fall. I believe we need to work hard on this. If it were up to us, it would have taken place in July. But not everything depends on us

President of Ukraine

As a reminder, the president is considering the possibility of a diplomatic visit to the U.S. in July. The main topic of the talks with U.S. officials will be finding ways to end Russia’s war against Ukraine.
