“There are no military targets in Kyiv. We’re striking to intimidate civilians”: Russian propagandists have effectively admitted to the true purpose of the attacks

Ukrainian journalist Denis Kazansky drew attention to this after analyzing a segment of the broadcast.

In one of the remarks, it was claimed that there are allegedly “no significant military targets” in Kyiv, so Russian strikes are primarily intended to spread disinformation.

According to Kazansky, such statements effectively confirm what Ukraine has been saying since the start of the full-scale war: massive missile attacks on Ukrainian cities are aimed primarily at terrorizing the civilian population, rather than achieving military objectives.

The journalist noted that such statements can be viewed as a public admission of the true purpose of the Russian shelling, since the propagandists themselves acknowledge the absence of significant military targets in the capital and explain the attacks as a desire to achieve a “media effect.”

In his view, terrorizing the civilian population only strengthens the resistance of Ukrainians and does not bring the war any closer to an end.

As a reminder, the Russian Ministry of Justice recently published on its official website the Nazi film “Hitler – the Liberator,” created during World War II for residents of occupied Soviet territories.
