In Russia, drones attacked Wildberries warehouses: seven employees were killed, and more than 40 others were injured

On the night of Friday, July 18, drones attacked logistics centers belonging to the Russian company Wildberries in two regions of the Russian Federation. Seven workers were killed and dozens of employees were injured as a result of the strikes.
This was reported by local officials and the company’s press office.
The Wildberries warehouse in Kotovsk, Tambov Oblast, sustained the most damage and suffered the highest number of casualties. According to regional governor Yevgeny Pervyshov, seven employees working the night shift were killed when drones struck the facility. Another 24 people were injured.
The second strike hit a Wildberries logistics facility in Elektrostal, Moscow Oblast. Andrei Vorobyov, governor of the Moscow Oblast, reported that 24 workers were injured when drones crashed onto the warehouse grounds. Some of them are in serious condition. The governor said that 48 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight in the Moscow Region.
The company’s press office confirmed the attacks on both centers, noting that an emergency evacuation was carried out at both facilities.
In addition to the Wildberries warehouses, other facilities in Russia were targeted that same night. Specifically, an oil depot caught fire in Noginsk, Moscow Region, injuring two people, and in Vladimir, a drone struck an apartment building. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties in Vladimir.
As a reminder, on the night of July 18, reports emerged of drone attacks in the Tambov, Moscow, Tver, and Vladimir regions of Russia. A series of explosions also occurred in the temporarily occupied Crimea, specifically near the “Gvardeyskoye” military airfield.
