A massive fire broke out at “Epicenter” in Zaporizhzhia following an attack

In Zaporizhzhia, a shopping center was damaged as a result of a Russian attack on the night of August 12, after which a fire broke out there. Approximately 1,200 customers were left without power.
This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration (RMA), on Telegram.
What is known about the attack
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA, reported the explosions in Zaporizhzhia overnight. He later stated that a private home had been damaged and subsequently reported that a shopping center had been hit and a fire had broken out.

According to him, the attack also left about 1,200 households without power in one of the city’s districts.
Fire at “Epicenter”
A video released later by the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration shows that the strike hit the “Epicenter” shopping center. A large-scale fire broke out there following the attack. Other consequences of the nighttime strike are being assessed.
As a reminder, on the night of August 10–11, Russian troops carried out a combined attack on Zaporizhzhia, killing six people. Another 19 people were wounded.
