President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is ready to agree to a mutual cessation of attacks on critical infrastructure if its partners can ensure that Russia is prepared to abide by such an agreement.
The president wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
The president noted that Ukraine has proposed to its partners that they secure an agreement with Russia that would halt the destruction of critical infrastructure.
If our partners are willing to ensure that Russia genuinely refrains from targeting our power grid, other energy facilities, critical infrastructure, and food supply chains, then we are, of course, ready to ensure that we do not carry out any strikes in response

This concerns the energy sector, port infrastructure, logistics, food, and pharmaceuticals.
Zelenskyy emphasized that the agreement must be reliable and long-term, not just a temporary pause.

At the same time, Ukraine expects concrete steps from its partners.
As a reminder, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Ukraine and Russia have agreed not to strike each other’s energy facilities.
