Ukraine must produce 1,000 long-range drones per day, says Zelenskyy

This was stated in the president’s evening address.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine has been in contact with the U.S. side both yesterday and today regarding the meetings that took place in Moscow.

According to the president, Ukraine is currently deploying more than 300 long-range weapons per day and needs to ramp up production to 1,000 drones per day.

It is also very important to accelerate the production of interceptors for the “Shahed” drones, which are currently causing particular harm to Ukraine and Kyiv.

According to Zelenskyy, the situation remains particularly difficult in Kyiv, as well as in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.

Zelenskyy reported a gasoline shortage in Russia

The president also reported on the consequences of Ukraine’s long-range strikes on Russian oil infrastructure. Russia is already facing a gasoline shortage, which has forced the country to begin importing it.

The president emphasized that Ukraine’s next steps will depend on Russia’s willingness to end the war and move toward substantive peace negotiations.

As a reminder, Ukraine is ready to end the war on fair and equitable terms, which would involve a meeting between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin at any neutral venue, with the exception of Moscow and Minsk.
