On the night of August 6, Ukraine continued to launch long-range strikes against Russian territory. In Yaroslavl, fires broke out following the activation of Russian air defense systems, and local residents are reporting an attack on an oil refinery.

Explosions were heard in Yaroslavl, Russia, on the night of August 5. According to local residents, the Yaroslavl oil refinery may have been targeted.
After Russian air defenses were activated, at least two fires broke out in different parts of the city. There are also reports of several residential buildings catching fire.
At this time, there has been no official confirmation from Russian authorities regarding the consequences of the attack. Details regarding possible damage and the causes of the fires are still being clarified.
As a reminder, on the night of August 2, a series of explosions rocked the Russian cities of Saratov and Engels. According to reports from Russian Telegram channels, a fire broke out at an oil refinery in Saratov, as well as in the city’s industrial zone. According to their reports, the attack was ongoing.
