Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were ordered to observe a ceasefire along the front line from September 5 to September 8.
This was reported by sources at "Ukrainska Pravda" within several brigades and the security forces.

When the order will take effect
According to the publication’s sources in several brigades stationed in different sectors, as well as a high-ranking official in the security sector, the ceasefire is in effect from 12:00 a.m. on September 5 until 11:59 p.m. on September 8.
According to them, Defense Forces units have already received the corresponding order. The sources did not provide any further details regarding the reasons for imposing this ceasefire.
However, military personnel, including “Mykolaivsky Vanek,” report that they will respond in kind if the Russians violate the temporary ceasefire.
Information is also circulating online that the ceasefire is being imposed due to the visit of high-ranking U.S. officials to Russia and Ukraine. Military officials also assert that as of this morning, no ceasefire had been planned.
As a reminder, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that his special envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, will travel to Moscow for talks on ending Russia’s war against Ukraine. According to Trump, the U.S. representatives are to convey Washington’s proposals aimed at ending the war to the Russian side.
