In Odesa, Russians killed a woman who was walking in the park with her children: Zelenskyy responds to enemy shelling

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on Russia’s latest massive nighttime attack, during which the enemy launched more than 130 attack drones and 8 missiles at Ukrainian territory. The occupiers carried out deadly strikes on a number of regions, including Odesa, where the number of casualties has risen to 10, including children. There are also reports of fatalities.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote about this on Telegram.
The Ukrainian leader confirmed the Regional Military Administration’s report that two people were killed as a result of the strike on Odesa. As previously reported, one of the victims was a woman whom the Russians killed while she was walking in a park with her children, who survived.
In total, other regions were also targeted by enemy shelling, including:
- in the Sumy region, the occupiers fired 15 guided bombs, wounding one person and damaging residential buildings and civilian infrastructure, including a library;
- in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, two people were killed and five others were wounded as a result of an airstrike;
- in the Kharkiv region, three people were wounded due to shelling, and one person was wounded in the Chernihiv region;
- The Kherson, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions were also under heavy enemy fire.
The Head of State expressed his condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims and emphasized the need to expedite military aid. ⠀
It is crucial that every government institution—and everyone involved in negotiations with partners regarding support for Ukraine’s defense and resilience—act as swiftly and effectively as possible. We must accelerate the implementation of everything agreed upon at the leadership level. Every defense package right now is not just a number, but concrete resources that protect lives here in Ukraine every day

As a reminder, Russian troops launched a missile strike on Odesa. According to preliminary reports, two people were killed and ten others were wounded, including three children.
