The "Chornomorets" stadium was damaged as a result of the Russian strike. According to preliminary reports, there are casualties.
This was reported by the Odesa Regional State Administration.
A strong smell of burning is noticeable in the city center. The stadium has sustained damage, windows are shattered, and grass is burning nearby.
Tomorrow, August 8, a Ukrainian Premier League match between “Chornomorets” and “Kolos” from Kovalevka is scheduled to take place at this stadium.
As a reminder, on August 7, an explosive device detonated in the Black Sea off the coast of the village of Kobleve in the Mykolaiv region. A 45-year-old man who was in the water was killed as a result of the incident.
