Destroying russian launchers will help reduce attacks on Ukraine, its critical infrastructure, and the civilian population. The military knows they need to do this, and they will do it.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement during a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council.
The military knows that they need to destroy the enemy’s launch sites in order to reduce attacks on Ukraine. This involves strategically important infrastructure and the civilian population. They are working on this and will continue to do so.

He emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense must do everything possible to ensure that partners increase their supplies of anti-ballistic air defense systems. “Ukroboronprom” and the defense industrial complex must focus on building a domestic air defense system.
As a reminder, Volodymyr Zelenskyy also outlined three key areas on which Ukraine should focus as it prepares for winter.
