An enemy “Pantsir-S1” did not interfere: Unmanned Systems Forces struck yet another vessel of Russia’s “shadow fleet”

This was reported by Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, and the official Telegram channel of the Unmanned Systems Forces.

Recent Strikes and Enemy Countermeasures

According to the UAS, between August 1 and 8, Ukrainian drone operators struck another 12 vessels belonging to Russia’s “shadow fleet.”

In particular, during one of the most recent attacks near Gelendzhik (Black Sea), Russian troops attempted to defend a vessel using the “Pantsir-S1” anti-aircraft gun and missile system. The occupiers fired three guided missiles at the Ukrainian drone, but this did not prevent SBS operators from completing their mission and striking the target.

Scale of the Operation and Blockade of Shipping

In total, during the “MoLoChKa” operation (from July 6 to August 8, 2026), 218 vessels were successfully neutralized:

• 134 vessels—in the Sea of Azov;
• 84 vessels—in the Black Sea.

As noted by the commander of the Special Forces, due to the activity of Ukrainian drones, the occupiers’ civilian and logistical shipping in the Sea of Azov has been effectively paralyzed, and traffic through the Kerch Strait has been indefinitely blocked for 30 days now (starting July 10).

In light of this, “Madyar” warned international traders against entering into agreements or taking trading positions regarding Russian grain and other export goods transported through this region.

The Unmanned Systems Forces emphasized that Operation “MoLoChKa” will continue.

As a reminder, on August 6–7, “SBS Birds” struck 102 enemy targets, including an FSB base in the Kherson region, “shadow fleet” vessels, and key energy and military infrastructure facilities.
