Zelenskyy on the nighttime strikes against logistics complexes in Russia: This is a response to the shelling of Ukrainian civilian infrastructure

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the long-range strikes on Russian territory that took place on the night of July 18. He emphasized that the strikes on major logistics facilities in the Moscow and Tambov regions are a response to Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure, cities, and communities.

According to Zelenskyy, the targets were struck at a considerable distance from the border—more than 500 and about 700 kilometers from the front line. In addition, a Russian oil facility was struck as a result of the operation.
The Head of State also confirmed that Ukrainian medium-range strike weapons (“mid-range strikes”) were deployed last night against military targets in the Black and Azov Seas, as well as on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
