Destroyed bridges to Crimea and $20 million in losses: The Defense Forces and the Main Intelligence Directorate launched massive strikes against the occupiers

This is reported in official briefings from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

General Staff Strikes: Disruption of Russia’s Logistics and Naval Capabilities

On the night of August 1, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of operations to reduce the aggressor’s military and economic potential.

Among the enemy targets struck were:

• Railway logistics: The “Sivash” railway bridge in the Chongar area, which connects the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson Oblast with Crimea, was struck, as was a railway bridge in the Vladislavivka area (Autonomous Republic of Crimea). Both of these key infrastructure facilities were actively used by the occupiers to transport armored vehicles, ammunition, and personnel to the southern front;
• Maritime infrastructure: A strike was carried out against a depot of unmanned maritime craft in the Chornomorsk area (Autonomous Republic of Crimea), where the enemy maintained and prepared unmanned craft for missions in the Black Sea;
• Reconnaissance and repair assets: A radio-electronic reconnaissance (RER) unit of the Russian Federation’s Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol was struck, as well as a repair and restoration base in the Pervomaiskyi area;
• Logistics depots: a UAV depot in the Tokmak area (Zaporizhzhia Oblast) and a logistics depot near the village of Podovyi (Kherson Oblast) were destroyed.

Operation by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense: occupiers’ losses exceed $20 million

Meanwhile, operators from the Department of Unmanned Systems of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine carried out a precision special operation on the night of July 29–30, striking three high-value targets of the Russian army.

According to military intelligence, the following targets were destroyed:

• a “Pantsir-S1” air defense system in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region (estimated value: $15 million);
• A Project 1100M “Sargan” high-speed patrol boat in the city of Kerch (estimated value: $6 million);
• A “Forpost” ground control station for unmanned aerial vehicles in Yevpatoria.

In just one night, the GUR’s unmanned systems specialists inflicted over $20 million in damage on the Russian occupation forces.

As a reminder, on July 28–29, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces struck 10 more energy facilities in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea, Kherson Oblast, and Luhansk Oblast.
