AI Will Screen for Suspicious Job Postings: Government Approves Program to Combat Human Trafficking Through 2030

The program aims to strengthen the protection of the rights of victims of human trafficking and exploitation, as well as to modernize mechanisms for preventing such crimes.

One of the key innovations will be a trauma-informed approach. Victims will not have to repeatedly recount their stories to various government agencies. The program aims to quickly identify victims and promptly refer them to the necessary assistance.

There are also plans to create a unified information and analytical platform for data exchange between government agencies and international partners, expand the network of victim assistance centers, and strengthen the detection of cases of labor, sexual, and other forms of exploitation.

Special attention will be given to reducing the risks of human trafficking for women and girls online. In particular, there are plans to use artificial intelligence to identify suspicious job postings that may contain signs of fraud or pose a risk of exploitation.

In addition, migration data will be analyzed to identify in advance migration routes where people are at increased risk of fraud or exploitation.
