In particular, he said that he considers the introduction of a tax on imported parcels in Ukraine to be the most difficult to implement. At the same time, the MP emphasized that the discussion on this issue is now over and it is time to pass the relevant law.

“I do not believe we have the right to reject it. I believe that everyone who cares about the state, everyone who thinks about its future—whether it will even survive, whether it will remain a state at all—must vote in favor of this decision. There is no alternative but to vote for it. And this decision will not result in any catastrophe, not even for consumers,” he added.

As a reminder, Serhiy Koretskyi’s Cabinet of Ministers recently approved a bill that would change the rules for taxing goods purchased through foreign marketplaces and submitted it to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration. If adopted by parliament, the new regulations will take effect no earlier than 2027.
