Patriot, HIMARS, and F-16: Zelenskyy Negotiates with Lockheed Martin on a New Level of Cooperation

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with representatives of the American defense contractor Lockheed Martin.
He announced this on his Telegram channel.
According to the president, the company manufactures, among other things, ATACMS missiles, HIMARS systems, F-16 fighter jets, and missiles for Patriot systems.
During the meeting, the parties discussed further cooperation, including joint weapons production and technology exchange.

They also discussed joint opportunities regarding Patriot systems and other weapons. The president said that Ukrainian and American teams are already working on specific solutions to move toward joint production as quickly as possible and strengthen Ukraine’s ability to protect its population.
As a reminder, the White House has moved the issue of granting Ukraine licenses to produce Patriot missiles beyond the realm of political statements. Lockheed Martin supports the issuance of these licenses.
