President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military struck two Russian chemical plants, a target in the Black Sea, and a number of military facilities in Taganrog.

On the night of September 6–7, operators from the Department of Active Operations of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported that a Russian aircraft had been shot down on the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula.
