On August 24 and during the night of August 25, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched strikes against a number of Russian military targets. Among the targets hit were electronic warfare systems, a satellite communications station, fuel, lubricant, and ammunition depots, as well as a Russian fighter jet.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In Luhansk, Ukrainian troops attacked the “Peresvet-M” specialized electronic warfare complex.
Additionally, in Mirny, in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, a Starlink satellite communications jamming station was struck.
In Berdiansk and Primorsk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Russian military fuel, lubricant, and ammunition depots were struck.
In addition, data analysis has confirmed that on August 24, 2026, a MiG-29 fighter jet was damaged at the “Millerovo” airfield in the Rostov Oblast of the Russian Federation.
We would also like to remind you that the Russian Ministry of Defense’s claims regarding the alleged capture of the settlement of Novokostiantynivka (Pershe Travnia) in the Sumy region are untrue. The settlement remains under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
