Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces have shot down a Russian Tu-95MS in the Saratov region and carried out strikes against Russian targets in the Black Sea.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this on his Telegram channel.

In Engels, Russia, SBU “Alpha” unit soldiers struck a TU-95MS missile carrier. These are the very aircraft that are carrying out strikes against Ukraine

The OSINT monitoring channel Exilenova+ published photos of the damaged enemy Tu-95MS strategic bomber and the site where it was struck at the “Engels-2” airfield.

The president added that strikes were also carried out against Russian targets in the Black Sea.

Over the past 24 hours, our Defense Forces struck an oil refinery in the Yaroslavl region. It is located 1,000 kilometers from the front line.

As a reminder, on August 26, the Russian NORSI oil refinery—the fourth-largest refinery in Russia and the second-largest in terms of gasoline production—halted oil processing following an attack by Ukrainian drones.

On the night of August 28, UAVs attacked a number of regions in the Russian Federation. The “Engels-2” military airfield in the Saratov region was hit by the drones.
