Ukraine's trade volume for the first seven months of 2026 reached $82.2 billion

This was reported by the State Customs Service.

Taxed imports reached $40.9 billion, accounting for 18.1% of the total volume of imported goods. The tax burden per kilogram of taxable imports in January–July 2026 was $0.59/kg.

Major Trading Partners

The largest volumes of goods were imported into Ukraine from:

• China—$16.8 billion;
• Poland – $5.5 billion;
• Germany – $3.8 billion.

The largest exports from Ukraine went to:

• Poland – $2.8 billion;
• Turkey – $2 billion;
• Germany – $1.5 billion.

Import Structure

Three categories accounted for 73% of the total volume of imported goods:

• machinery, equipment, and transportation—$25.7 billion (UAH 145.5 billion was paid to the budget, or 28% of customs revenue);
• fuel and energy products – $8.5 billion (UAH 172.7 billion paid, or 34% of revenue);
• chemical industry products – $8 billion (UAH 66.5 billion paid, or 13% of revenue).

Export Structure

The top three most exported goods were:

• food products – $14.1 billion;
• metals and metal products – $2.5 billion;
• machinery, equipment, and transportation vehicles – $2.1 billion.

During customs clearance of exports subject to export duties, 888.3 million hryvnias were paid to the budget.

As a reminder, Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga stated that Ukraine is considering various options for resuming exports amid Russia’s blockade of the maritime corridor. Allies are already providing assistance.
