In June 2026, the average monthly wage in Ukraine was 32,783 UAH. This is 5.9% higher than in May.

This was reported by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

According to the study, the highest wages were recorded in:

  • Kyiv – 48,393 UAH;
  • Luhansk Oblast – 38,143 UAH;
  • Kyiv Oblast – 33,849 UAH.

The lowest figures were recorded in:

  • Chernivtsi Oblast – 24,472 UAH;
  • Kirovohrad Oblast – 23,882 UAH.

By economic sector:

  • The highest average salary was earned by workers in the information and telecommunications sector – 77,931 UAH;
  • the lowest – in the health care and social assistance sector – 22,274 UAH.

The State Statistics Service also noted that as of July 1, 2026, wage arrears totaled 3.8 billion UAH.

As a reminder, the government has allocated 6.6 billion UAH to raise salaries for teachers and social workers. The funds will be distributed among all 24 regions of Ukraine, taking into account the needs of each. The less revenue a particular region generates on its own, the larger a share of the costs the state will cover.
